A later maturing yellow cooking onion, Yellow of Parma is a heirloom variety that produces large bulbs. It is a long day type with a fresh, mild flavour when eaten fresh. Flavour intensifies with storage time. Start seeds indoors 10-12 weeks before transplanting. Plant out in May, spaced 6″ apart. Days to maturity: 110. (approx 300 seeds/pkg)
